But which ones are worth paying attention to, and when are they happening? While there are a couple of big events slated to make their return in 2025, and several others have yet to publicly announce their dates for 2025, here are 15 events you will not want to miss out on this year, so bookmark this and register early!

Singapore Tennis Open 2025


The inaugural Singapore Tennis Open will be taking place at the newly opened Kallang Tennis Hub from 27 January to 2 February 2025, and is the first professional women’s tennis tournament to be held in Singapore since 2019.


Tennis fans can enjoy free entry to all the qualifying matches on 25 and 26 January, while ticket prices for the main draw matches start from $8 for concession tickets and $44 for a group of 4. Fans can also purchase a three-day pass from $186.


Spectators will also be treated to an exciting lineup of activities and experiences throughout the tournament, which aims to bring tennis enthusiasts and families together. Singapore Smash 2025


Table tennis is once again taking over Singapore Sports Hub. Get ready for eleven days of action with qualifying from 30 January - 1 February and the main draw from 2-9 February 2025.


Watch the biggest stars in the sport light up the spectacular Infinity ∞ Arena with high-octane table tennis. The stakes are high with USD 1,500,000 in prize money and 2000 world ranking points up for grabs in this premier WTT Series event.


The action starts early with exclusive WTT All Stars Open Training sessions on 31 January and 1 February. Get a rare behind-the-scenes look as the world's best prepare for battle.


History will also be made as the inaugural WTT Youth Grand Smash debuts 6-9 February. Watch the next generation compete in a thrilling new format where every point that adds drama to every point.

MetaSprint Series by Metasport


The annual MetaSprint series comprising Aquathlon, Duathlon and Triathlon is back again in 2025! Catered to triathletes of all levels in Singapore, the events span three months from January to March, and serve as a good test bed for amateur athletes looking to participate in the Singapore T100 in April this year.


The MetaSprint series by Metasport is also beginner friendly, and a great event for single sport athletes to dip their toes into other sports if they are considering taking the leap of faith into multi-sport racing.


Aquathlon will be held on 26 January at Sentosa Island, with Duathlon taking place on 23 February at the F1 Pit Building, before the series ends of at East Coast Park on 16 March for the Triathlon.

Singapore T100 2025


Amateur triathletes and athletes from Singapore will have the chance to participate and compete in the T100 Triathlon World Tour yet again in 2025, formerly known as the PTO Tour.


Slated to take place in Singapore from 5-6 April 2025, the Singapore T100 made a huge impact at Marina Bay over the last two years, and is expected to continue in the same vein as part of a 8-city tour that spans three continents and witness some of the world's finest triathletes toe the start line in the lion city state.

Garmin Run Asia Series 2025

Southeast Asian Games 2025


The Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) is arguably the most exciting and vibrant multi-sport event in the region, bringing together a showcase of the region's top athletes from Southeast Asia to compete in a spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and excellence.
