Sporting giants adidas have unleashed a new-look adidas PREDATOR football boots, reimagined for the technical demands of the modern game

Singapore, January 26, 2022 - Football fans and enthusiasts who have played the game would be familiar with the iconic adidas PREDATOR football boots - donned by legendary footballers the likes of David Beckham, Alessandro Del Piero, Raul Gonzalez over the years.
Yesterday adidas unleashed its new-look PREDATOR, the PREDATOR EDGE, with new features such as ZONE SKIN to support swerve, spin and grip. It was released in support of a landmark year for the game, including the women's EURO 2022, with the product campaign being led by players Wendie Renard, Toni Duggan and Abby Dahlkemper.

The PREDATOR EDGE is an innovative new chapter for the legendary PREDATOR franchise which sees the boot reimagined for the technical demands of the modern game.
Continuing the perpetual evolution that PREDATOR has become famed for, PREDATOR EDGE introduces for the first time ZONE SKIN – a breakthrough innovation supporting swerve, spin and grip. Strategically positioned rubberized ribs engineered into four control zones across the instep and toe box optimize ball manipulation, giving players a powerful edge and the confidence to push the game forward.

The high-precision zonal innovation created to highlight the skill and beauty of the sport is
complemented by a number of other new features which enable maximum comfort and movement – combining together to prioritise all-round control of the game.
The newly developed FACET FRAME on the sole of the boot delivers stability and dynamic traction for powerful movement on the pitch. The frame also features a weighted forefoot piece that redistributes weight toward the front of the boot, optimizing power transfer when striking the ball.

The boot is finished with a FACET FIT collar construction – a premium laceless two-piece PRIMEKNIT collar designed for breathable comfort, easy step in, and secure lock down of the foot during play.
Kicking off momentous year for football which includes UEFA Women’s EURO 2022, the PREDATOR legacy continues with a new generation of players making their mark.
