Singapore, 2 September 2022 - A swanky new mega gym has opened in the Central Business District with a six-in-one concept. Called AIBI Maxwell Wellness Playground, this sits on 30 Maxwell Road, which was once part of the former Maxwell Road Traffic Police Compound.

The word ‘Maxwell’ in its name does not just represent the road it is on, but also means

Maximising Wellness.

This building at 30 Maxwell Road is the first and one of six State properties identified under the first phase of the Reinventing Spaces into Vibrant Places (RSVP) programme by the Singapore Land Authority (SLA) and Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) in 2019.

AIBI Maxwell’s six-in-one wellness system consists of an AIBI showroom and the Dr.Well

wellness centre on the ground floor, and the RE:GYM that takes up two-and-a-half floors

above. Within RE:GYM, there are fitness studios RE:SPIN and RE:HIIT for group classes too.

In case you’re wondering, Dr.Well helps participants gain a better understanding of their brain health and learn how to optimise it through data-driven tests reviewed by professional therapists.

Dr.Well’s programmes and facilities will help with stress and fatigue management to help improve sleep, productivity and performance.

The compound also has specialty coffee chain Huggs with healthy meal prep service Fitmeal and an exterior fitness corner, dog gym, playground, swings and seating are also open for public use both day and night.

At the official launch of AIBI Maxwell on 1 September, attended by Guest-of-Honour

Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam, AIBI announced its foray into connected fitness through a partnership with Uniigym, a cloud-based virtual fitness

application that utilises AI technology to deliver an interactive fitness experience.

Uniigym’s AI can create content eight to 10 times faster than professional fitness video

editors and its motion-detection system allows content to "self-generate" music and special effects.
