What's it take to be a Bouncefit instructor? We ask celebrity host and content creator Jade Seah, who shares her new found passion of working out by bouncing on a trampoline at Bouncefitness at Kulture Studios.
But first, what exactly is Bouncefit and why is it so popular among Singaporeans?
According to the official website, Bouncefit is a trademark rhythm-based rebounding workout by Kulture Studios that features a holistic combination of aerobic and anaerobic routines with power-sport elements.

This complex workout is conducted on custom-made mini trampolines, primarily cardio (think weight loss) and is also an extremely effective in terms of strengthening.
To add to the ambience, classes are usually done under smart LED lights, combined with an amazing and fun music playlist, for a truly unparalleled workout experience.
So when did Jade Seah fall in love with Bounce Fitness and decide to become an instructor?
"I did it for many years, but got heavy into it during circuit breaker. They were renting out trampolines, and I had one at home and I was so bored," she said with a chuckle.

"So I would bounce, and it was one way to hang out with my friends virtually. So I got a lot of my friends into it. When circuit breaker ended and work was still a little slow to pick up, I asked Jae(the owner of BounceFit) if I could become an instructor, and he was very enthusiastic about it. He was confident he could train me to become an instructor within a month."
The rest as they say, was history.
We asked Jade what first timers of Bouncefit can expect from the experience, to which she shared: "The first time is always a big shiong, because it's like a shock to the system. Honestly for me as well, don't pressure yourself. I always tell this to first timers, if you cannot catch the steps, like you got hand-eye coordination issues."

She will usually try to slow things down so that everyone in class can begin together at a manageable pace.
Jade continued, "I try to go slow with the rhythm and try to pick up the pace first. When everyone has got the rhythm then I move on to the next step."
"But if you cannot catch the next step, just stick to the rhythm and just go at your own pace. It's all about having fun."
