1 November 2021, Singapore - Casio G-SHOCK announced the newest addition to the Master of G line of G-SHOCK shock-resistant watches, which are designed to withstand the most extreme of conditions.
The GWG-2000 is the latest addition to the MUDMASTER series of watches with a dust- and mud-resistant structure designed for use in dire land environments. Regardless of dirt, sand, mud, dust, or rubble, this is the watch that can overcome it all.
The new MUDMASTER GWG-2000 is also the first ever G-SHOCK to be built with forged carbon, a special type of carbon fibre-reinforced resin that is lighter than and has tensile strength superior to stainless steel, making it strong, durable yet lightweight. This material is often used in aircraft and racing cars.
At some angles, fine carbon particles kneaded into the resin can be seen on the surface, forming a unique black and grey pattern that is truly one of a kind.

The watch also features newly developed Mud Resist buttons made from a slick combination of stainless steel button pipes and internal silicone buffer material which absorbs shock and promises even better dust and mud resistant performance.
Inspired by professional gear, the band is textured in the style of the no-slip rubber grips seen on specialised vehicles and heavy machinery, and the buttons are knurled for better control, making for a highly functional, powerful tool.
The GWG-2000 is available in three colours: stoic monochrome grey, military-look khaki, and sand beige.
This watch will be available on https://gshock.casio.com/sg/ only for CASIO ID members and at all G-SHOCK stores from 3 November 2021.
