One word that describes your 2023 and why?

Dawn: Self-discovery. I'm still learning a lot about myself, year on year the body changes we go through different phases. We learn new things as we go along, we develop new injuries. So it's a lot about self-discovery for me in 2023.

One thing that you look forward to the most in 2024?

Dawn: More growth, more development in areas that I discovered in 2023 that I still have room for development. 2024 is to grow those areas.

If you could relive one single moment in your life, what would that be?

Dawn: There would be too many moments, but if I could only choose one I would say scaling another mountain - not Kinabalu, but just reaching the top of Kinabalu again but with my loved ones.

At which point did you feel you had the greatest breakthrough in your life?

Dawn: The biggest breakthrough I had in my life was when I realised that my greatest enemy was myself.

What is your favourite hobby outside of sports?

Dawn: I developed green fingers from my grandma, and I discovered I have a knack for it. So I would say planting.
