Led by former Under Armour Run Crew and popular local running group Superhero Runners, the group ran off to cheers from spectators and organisers at the start line, and were quick to hit the first checkpoint at Trapeze Rec Club, where participants had to snap a photo of themselves and name a service or class that is offered by the wellness centre.

Not long after the running group was on the move again, heading towards Clarke Quay where key checkpoints ibis Budget Clarke Quay and Huggs Clarke Quay Central were located.

Curious drivers and bystanders cast glances at the group at each traffic light, as the runners made their way across the colourful buildings that lined the Singapore river.

At ibis Budget, participants likewise had to snap photos of themselves at the entrance of the hotel, before making their way to Huggs Coffee Clarke Quay Central, where each runner had to have their cards stamped in order to redeem a bonus Huggs goodie bag at the end of the run.

While regular runners formed the core of the group that morning, members of public who joined were able to enjoy the run at a casual and easy pace that made urban exploration and city sightseeing a pleasant experience.
