Brisbane Roar forward and Singaporean international Danelle Tan expressed her enthusiasm for the trip: “I’m really excited for our trip to Singapore. It’s always special to go back home, and this is a fantastic opportunity to promote women’s football. Young aspiring players will get to watch a professional women’s team up close, giving them a benchmark for the level overseas. It’s also a great chance for us as a team to grow closer, both on and off the pitch.”

“We’re delighted to throw our doors open to Brisbane Roar. It will be fantastic to have a trailblazer like Danelle – playing at the top level, alongside some players with World Cup experience – return and inspire young girls who are dreaming of doing the same,” said FAS General Secretary Chew Chun-liang.
