New Balance brings together run club and fitness communities over two weekends to celebrate the inclusiveness that running brings

Over the past two weekends, New Balance celebrated "Run Your Way" with a new meaning, bringing together over 150 participants from across the running and fitness community to partake in its latest "Run Your Way" event, as part of a collaboration between the brand and fitness studio Ally Singapore.

Yesterday afternoon, some 80 participants from various local running clubs and Ally members gathered at Ally Studio for the highly anticipated “Run Your Way” event, which beautifully fused the worlds of fitness, community, and innovation.

This dynamic session brought together a diverse group of individuals passionate about both running and overall wellness, offering them a chance to not only get moving but to experience some of New Balance's innovations in athletic gear and training.

Donning striking pink running shoes, participants experienced a 3D foot scan before the event kicked off with an invigorating 6km run, a fun and course along Marina Bay that allowed runners of all levels to connect with like-minded individuals from other run communities.

The route wound through the Art Science Museum, Flower Dome and Marina Barrage for a scenic stretch, setting the perfect tone for an evening centered around health, vitality, and community.

Participants weren’t just there to run — they were also invited to experience a range of New Balance’s newest running shoes. The spotlight was on the stylish pink variants of the SC Elite v4, Rebel v4, and 1080 v14 models.

The shoes offered participants a taste of cutting-edge performance footwear designed to elevate their running experience. Whether it was the SC Elite v4 for speed, the versatile Rebel v4 for everyday runs, or the comfort-focused 1080 v14, attendees were able to find the perfect pair to match their personal running style.

But the excitement didn’t end with the run. Following the 6km course, the event took a holistic approach to fitness by offering participants the option to choose between a reformer pilates class or a rhythmic cycle (spin) class.

The reformer pilates session allowed runners to lengthen, strengthen, and stretch their muscles, helping to recover and counterbalance the intensity of the run. Meanwhile, the rhythmic cycle class — set to high-energy beats — was a perfect way for participants to keep their heart rates up and enjoy a low-impact but highly effective workout.

Both options were met with great enthusiasm, showcasing the diversity of fitness modalities that can complement a runner’s training.
As the event came to a close, everyone gathered for some well-deserved refreshments, fueling up with healthy snacks and drinks, and sharing their experiences from the day.

The sense of camaraderie was palpable, with many attendees exchanging stories, tips, and encouragement.
The collaboration between New Balance and Ally Studio was a perfect match, blending top-tier athletic wear with a holistic approach to fitness. The event wasn’t just about running but about encouraging participants to explore different forms of exercise and wellness — a celebration of movement in all its forms.

By combining the energy of a community run with the benefits of a recovery-focused fitness class and a sneak peek at the newest in running shoe technology, the “Run Your Way” event proved to be a major success.
Whether participants were running their fastest or simply enjoying the journey, it was an unforgettable day that highlighted the power of community and the joy of movement.

Here’s hoping this becomes a regular fixture on the calendar, inspiring more people to lace up their running shoes and discover the joy of fitness in all its forms to "Run Your Way".
