End Your 2022 on a High with New Experiences and Offerings at Singapore's Sporting Playground

24 November 2021, Singapore - As Singapore enters a new trasition phase and welcomes back groups of five, the Singapore Sports Hub has rolled out some fresh new experiences and offerings to usher the crowds back to Singapore's sporting playground.


Those opting to stay in Singapore this December will have a host of experiences to choose from at Singapore Sports Hub, as live international sporting events finally make its return to Singapore's shores, while fun-filled children's activities also offer young families some seriously fun options to pass their time.

These include a fresh range of novel sports and fitness classes, and even new shops at Kallang Wave Mall to check out if you're looking to pass time or shop for the holiday season.

AFF Suzuki Cup & World Table Tennis Cup Finals


It's been almost two years since we last heard the Kallang Roar, and what better way for live sports to make a roaring return than by hosting the regional's biggest football spectacle?


The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2020 and World Table Tennis (WTT) Cup Finals Singapore will both be coming to the Singapore Sports Hub next month, with month-long action from 5 December 2021 all the way through to 1 January 2022.

Come cheer on our Singapore Lions at the National Stadium, which will host Group A matches, the semi-finals, and the finals of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2020. Full fixture list is available on Sport Plus' events listings here.


If football is not quite your thing, there is also world-class table tennis action that will be taking place at the OCBC Arena from 4 to 7 December at the OCBC Arena. Catch international stars and home talents at the WTT Cup Finals Singapore, to witness our Team Singapore's athletes in the flesh after their outstanding performances at this year's Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Junior Playcation Urban Camp


Master coordination and learn sportsmanship with team sports such as Football or take a swing at something new with a sport like Golf at a full-day Junior Playcation Urban camp.


Children taking part in this camp will be introduced to the world of sports, with both new sports activities as well as familiar favourites!


Parents can drop their children off at the 100PLUS Promenade for the camp, which also includes lunch and snacks. Each participant will also walk away with a camp kit inclusive of a tote bag, bottle and limited edition t-shirt.

New Sports & Fitness classes


Experience sports in a whole new way with new classes that will challenge yourself. And you don't even have to be super fit to have fun at these classes!


Have a ball at Singapore Sports Hub's new tchoukball, korfball and lawn bowl classes.


Or if you'd rather dip your toes into the pool, consider the diving classes or become an artist in the water at Singapore Sports Hub's artistic swimming classes.

Held at OCBC Aquatic Centre and in partnership with Torpedo, you’ll be in the good hands of certified trainers who were once national swim athletes themselves. More details on the programmes are available here.


Dip your toes into your preferred sport from 29 November with our 10-session holiday program. And if you do fall in love with the sport (which won’t be difficult), you can refine your skills with Singapore Sports Hub's regular classes.


Exciting New Brands at Kallang Wave Mall


From CrossFit to skating and cycling, there is plenty of new stuff to check out at Kallang Wave Mall.


Local board-sports company, The Ride Side is a must-visit for board sports enthusiasts looking for top equipment and to become part of the community.


Given the booming interest in cycling, a timely addition to the mall is CycleOxygen, an official retailer of Brompton Bicycles. You’ll get access to bike components, workshop support, servicing, and even international cycling events, so pay them a visit!
