What is one word that describes your 2023 and why?

Zubin: "Insightful". Just because it was a comeback year for me personally. I took a gap year just because I was injured all of 2022, and 2023 was just about growth and really coming into myself. It was about growing into the athlete that I am today and I'm very thankful for that.

What is one thing you hope for in 2024?

Zubin: Success. This year is about achieving success, chasing your dreams and realising your potential.

If you could relive one single moment in your life, what would it be?

Zubin: Breaking my national record. Again and again and again. For sure.

What is your proudest achievement in life?

Zubin: I think for me it was when I broke the 400m national record for the second time. Just because that was so unexpected, it just came out of nowhere. It was the most authentic for what I think I've had, and all that was captured and I would relive it a thousand times over for sure.

What is your favourite hobby outside of your sport?

Zubin: Weightlifting. My coach doesn't like it, not a big fan of it because unnecessary weight around the track, but I'm a big fan of it. So definitely weightlifting.
