AIA HYROX Singapore Returns With Historic Four-Day Race Weekend at Singapore Expo

SINGAPORE, 28 October 2026 — The global fitness racing phenomenon is set to reach new heights as AIA HYROX Singapore returns to the Singapore Expo from 26 to 29 November 2026. Marking the city’s first-ever four-day race weekend, the event will welcome over 18,500 athletes representing 92 nationalities, cementing its status as one of the largest HYROX competitions ever held in Singapore.

The November edition also signals a major milestone for hybrid racing in the region, featuring the Asia debut of AIA HYROX Youngstars Singapore, an expanded adaptive division, and qualification spots for the PUMA HYROX World Championships 2027 in Hong Kong.

Record-Breaking Field and Global Participation

With 43% of registered competitors traveling from overseas, the upcoming race weekend highlights Singapore’s position as a premier sports tourism hub in the Asia-Pacific region.

The sport's explosive mass-participation appeal is reflected on the start line:

  • Over 10,000 first-time athletes will tackle their inaugural race.

  • 32 adaptive athletes are confirmed to compete—a significant rise from five adaptive racers at the previous edition.

“We’re excited to host our first-ever four-day race in Singapore, reflecting the continued growth of HYROX across the nation,” said William Petty, Regional Events Manager for S.E.A. at HYROX APAC. “AIA HYROX Youngstars Singapore makes this year’s event even more special as we continue to expand the HYROX experience and bring more people into the community.”

Asia Debut: AIA HYROX Youngstars Singapore

A major highlight of the four-day schedule is the Asian debut of HYROX Youngstars. Built specifically for youths aged 8 to 15, the division introduces the next generation to hybrid fitness through age-appropriate functional movements and running intervals.

Singapore served as the testing ground for the initial Youngstars activation in 2024, shaping the concept into a full-fledged competitive format.

“At AIA Singapore, our purpose is to enable people to live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives, a commitment that naturally starts with the next generation,” said Wong Sze Keed, Chief Executive Officer of AIA Singapore. “Expanding AIA HYROX Singapore into the city’s first four-day fitness festival reflects the incredible growth of this community. By giving youths aged 8 to 15 an inclusive platform to challenge themselves, build resilience, and discover the joy of fitness, we are fostering a lifelong love for wellness that will transform generations.”

Road to Hong Kong: PUMA HYROX World Championships 2027

As HYROX enters its ninth season across more than 95 cities globally, the November Singapore race serves as a key qualifying event for the PUMA HYROX World Championships 2027, set to take place in Hong Kong in June 2027. This marks the first time the global season finale will be hosted in the APAC region.

Athletes competing at Singapore Expo will battle for World Championship qualifying slots across:

  • HYROX Pro divisions (Men’s & Women’s)

  • Mixed Doubles

  • Open Age Groups (60+)

HYROX also confirmed its ongoing Southeast Asian expansion with the launch of AIA HYROX Hanoi in Vietnam, scheduled for 6–7 March 2027, bringing the organization’s footprint to more than 30 countries worldwide.

HYROX Social Hub: Beyond the Race Floor

Outside the racing pen, the HYROX Social Hub (formerly known as HYROX House) will transform the venue into a multi-day lifestyle and wellness festival. Open to racers, spectators, and families throughout all four days, the venue features:

  • Dedicated Recovery Lounge: Equipped with hot and cold contrast plunge tubs, compression boots, steam saunas, percussion massage therapy, and guided stretch sessions.

  • Festival Atmosphere: Curated local food and beverage vendors, live DJ sets, and community activations.

  • Race-Day Styling: An on-site beauty station offering hair braiding, airbrush tattoos, flash tattoos, and stick-on body art.
