John Yeong

John Yeong is the founder and CEO of SportPlus.sg. He sets the vision and direction for SportPlus, leading its brand strategy, partnerships and growth, and since 2021 he has built it into a home for the stories of Singapore's sporting community, from the start lines of mass-participation road races and HYROX to Team Singapore's campaigns abroad.

He also writes for the site. His recent work includes Soles of Singapore, the series on the runners behind the city's racing scene, with conversations with Benjamin Kheng and Joakim Gomez; features on the World Marathon Majors for Southeast Asian runners, including the TCS Sydney Marathon; and coverage of the region's biggest races, from the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon to the Jakarta Running Festival, where SportPlus served as official Singapore media and regional host partner in 2026.
