Designed to harness the mental uplift and physical rhythm of early-morning movement, the release pairs vibrant dawn-hued aesthetics across eight heritage and modern performance silhouettes while pushing the envelope on lightweight mechanical propulsion.

Sitting firmly in the high-performance "super trainer" category, the Sonicblast 2 builds directly upon the lively characteristics of the BLAST family, introducing refined plate geometry and dual-foam cushioning calibrated for daily uptempo efforts, tempo runs, and long mileage.

The core differentiator of the Sonicblast line remains its Astroplate—a structural system unique to this model within the BLAST series. For version 2, the plate features a redesigned forked geometry. This architecture enables the top-layer FF TURBO SQUARED foam to compress and extend deeper through the midsole chamber and directly into the forefoot trampoline pod. Singapore Community Activation: The Kallang Trial Zone
Ahead of the public drop, ASICS activated the local running scene with an exclusive trial zone hosted at the National Stadium, The Kallang, from 15 to 20 September. The event drew more than 700 local runners and nine running clubs across Singapore to test the Sonicblast 2 on the track.
Along with a competitive 400m Speed Challenge giving participants a crack at winning the shoe, the event bridged local street culture and performance sport through a collaboration with Singaporean visual artist Tobyato, who designed an exclusive limited-edition event tote bag.
